What is a group Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA)?
The Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) is a versatile registered savings vehicle that allows Canadians to accumulate investment income tax-free. The Group TFSA is available to participants 18 years of age or older. Contributions are not eligible for tax deductions like Group RRSP contributions, but withdrawals are tax-free. The TFSA complements a registered pension plan (RPP) or registered retirement savings plan (RRSP).
